Providence Connects is walking with our neighbors
from surviving to thriving through these programs

BASIC NEEDS ACCESS
POINTS
Our food truck delivers hot, chef-prepared meals directly to unsheltered individuals across Melbourne. Combined with a hot shower and clean change of clothes and mobile case management, this model ensures equitable access to food and essential care for those living outdoors. HOUSING FOCUSED
SREET
OUTREACH
Housing Focused Street Outreach is the first point of contact for individuals who are living unsheltered. Providence Connects deploys two mobile units with professional case managers to engage with people where they are, build trust, and offer services such as healthcare and emotional support. Case managers will also help connect individuals to additional services, including housing, and encourage them to begin their journey toward stability.

PATHWAYS
HOME
A dedicated team of homeless service professionals works side by side with chronically homeless people to assess their individual challenges, refer them to services, and monitor a coordinated effort to transition the person to a stable living environment. Email Vidya or Kim to schedule an appointment.

food
distribution
As a regional hub for food rescue and redistribution, Providence Connects collects and distributes over 1 million pounds of food each year through our warehouse located at 1408 Morningside Dr. Through cold storage, aggregation, and last-mile delivery, we empower a network of schools, churches, senior centers, and nonprofits—including Meals on Wheels—to meet rising demand and close critical food access gaps.

sharing
center
food
pantry
The Sharing Center food pantry, located at 17 E. Hibiscus Blvd, is a fresh choice market where each customer is able to choose the foods best suited to their household. We're open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am - 4pm, Wednesday 1pm - 4pm, and drive through hours are Wednesday 4pm - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 12pm.

healthcare service
Most individuals who experience hunger or homelessness are low to no-income and underinsured, which creates a tremendous barrier to receiving adequate healthcare. We provide access to health care, prescription assistance, dental, mental health, and addiction resources.

providence
place
Providence Connects is developing Providence Place - a 120-unit multi-family housing community scheduled to open at 850 S. Apollo Blvd. by Summer of 2027. This new community will include wrap-around services to help residents overcome challenges and be successful in housing. For more information, visit www.providence.place
